What makes us different?

Zero Lock In

We build to an exit. By that we mean we build to turn the website over to you. We offer WordPress Care Plans, but know that your website will be easy for you to edit.

Clear Payment Schedule

Our WordPress development is billed on milestones. That means you know what you will be paying for and at what point during the process. Because nobody likes surprises (unless it’s their birthday!).

Accessibility Baked In

You want everyone to be able to visit your website. This is why our WordPress websites are built to WCAG 2.0 standard. It’s not just the right thing to do, it makes good business sense.

Our process is simple.

Our four step process for WordPress websites allows us to take your website live in a shorter amount of time. Through on onboarding and project management process, we provide guidance on what content is needed and when. Easy!
l

1. Layout & Design

We start with creative discovery with you to define the colors, imagery, and fonts that will establish the foundation of the site’s look & feel. We use a pencil and paper to begin the layout stage.

3. Staging Site

With the mockup locked and approved, it’s time to start building your site with WordPress and Divi on our staging server. It is here where we test all features of your website.

2. Virtual Mockup

Next we move from pencil sketches to a higher resolution with Marvel, an online mockup tool. Marvel allows us to work quickly with an interactive virtual mockup that allows you to provide your feedback.

4. Live

After the final rounds of edits are complete and with final approval of the Staging Site, your website will move to its hosting platform for it’s world debut!

How much does a website cost?
We do not offer set pricing because each website is unique.

Our websites start at $1899. The final cost depends on number of pages and integrations required.

Please see the FAQ titled, “What is considered an integration?” for more.

What is considered an integration?
An integration is any connection that allows data from one website to flow into another.

Sample integrations include:

Connecting a MailChimp account to automate a newsletter email campaign.

Connecting a contact form to a CRM so you might be able follow-up with support, marketing, or sales emails.

Establishing a chat tool on your website.

There are so many ways to extend the functionality of your website, each requires care in configuring it to work as expected.

How does billing work?
We bill on milestones with one-third of your payment due at each milestone:

  • Initial deposit is due at contract approval.
  • A second payment is due after Mockup approval.
  • Final payment is due upon Staging approval.

The website then goes live.

What are my options for taking care of my website once it goes live?

We recommend adding on one of our WordPress Care Plans which offer a you options based on your needs. A care plan allows takes the worry of updates, backups and security off your plate and allows you to focus on your clients/customers.

If you do want to take care of your website, we have hourly support and our HelpMe! service so you can request our help at a time you schedule.

How long does it take to build a website?
The average for WordPress websites is two months.

While this is an average, there are many factors which can shorten or extend your timetable. We will work with you to meet your schedule.

Can you redesign my existing website?
Of course! That said, depending on the scope of the changes sought. We take into consideration the previous developers use of code, the complexity of the redesign, and what integration are involved to determine if the redesign is simply some CSS edits or a whole new website. We can advise you during a Free consultation.
Do I need to purchase a license for Divi?
As long as your website is managed with one of our WordPress Care Plans, a license for Divi is included.
Will I need a separate website for mobile devices?
Absolutely not. Out of the box, Divi is built to be responsive. A responsive website is one that can adapt, automagically, to display on any screen size.

Because we build with a mobile-focused process, we lean hard on Divi’s feature set, as well as industry standards and best practices, to acheive a mobile experience that is specific to to being drawn over cellular networks.

Do you on build Wix, SquareSpace or similar platforms?
We currently do not support web builder platforms like SquareSpace, Weebly, Wix, or Shopify. However, we can assist you with moving your website to WordPress. We would be happy to talk with you about what’s involved.
